Celtic Soil Solutions Ltd offer a full turnkey stabilisation package from initial sampling & testing to mix design, earthworks and compliance testing.
Soil stabilisation is an environmentally friendly method of enhancing the strength and stiffness characteristics of site won soils through in-situ modification; therefore drastically reducing the carbon footprint involved with both unsuitable soil removal and haulage of aggregate to site.
Noise pollution and road traffic congestion in the local area are also greatly reduced.
Benefits include: sustainable development, improved engineering properties, economic savings, quicker program and more.
Our stabalisation process works as follows:
Streumaster RW 16000 spreader applies product (lime/cement) to the material with excellent spreading precision.
Mixing drum pulverises the binding agent into the material working at the required depth, working in layers of 300mm. Celtic Soil Solutions drums:-FAE MTM -Stehr SBF 24
The correct compaction is vital to eliminate air pockets. Ideally use 19 tonne smooth drum or sheep's foot vibrating rollers.Compaction tests are then carried out to ensure the required values have been met.
